This is a great infographic about mobile email. My favorite point is “Start by designing for both desktop and mobile devices rather than designing for desktop and then trying to adapt it to mobile.” Right!
I designed my most recent website without considering mobile and I think it may come back to bite me in the butt! Often times even the formatting on an iPad versus a regular laptop seems to cause issues – all new challenges I suppose when it comes to design.
The info graphic about number of email openings on mobile versus a desktop is dramatic. I see a trend towards a completely mobile computing world in the near future. I think there will always be a place for desktops and laptops, however I think those places will become less and less widespread.
